Cherity Donations-Philanthropy

People who make a large donation to charities I think are giving the money because it makes them look good. I think that the rich are trying to make themselves look better than what they already are because they want to be noticed for doingsomething good. Warren Buffet pleged $31 billion to the charity and Bill and Melinda Gates pledged $31 billion. This is billions of dollars that doesn't have to be donated. They should pay hundreds, not thousands or billions, it's just not right. They are donating this money so they could be noticed and get even more money. It's making the poor look bad. Then again I think to myself "If I was a billionair, would I really give up billions of dollars just to look good?" No, actually I wouldn't and I don't think these people really are doing that either. I think they are donating the money because they actually care, if they are giving away this money to look good then their stupid because their money makes them look good. 30,000 children are dying from this disease a day, they are doing this for a good cause, for saving peoples children. Any amount of money could make a difference. If these people are donating this much money to a charity then they have got to be doing it to save the children. They want these children to live a good life. These kids are suffering and they need help ans these men and woman are stepping up. They could be paying the money for them to get the childrens vaccines over to where they are so that they can live. These people are trying to make their country look better and are doing a good deed of making the donation.
